…not exactly your consolation prize.

In the beginning…

A picture for Believers/non-believers. To Believers you see in the beginning as the Word hovered and there was creation. To non-believers you see the spark of the Big-Bang and its paramount expansion. Turn the picture long ways and everyone will see a DNA strand.

A fun riddle for the whole family to be involved in. Can you spot your house? Pictured on both ends is the actual Cheasapeake Bay Estuary as photographed from space. Shown are the states of Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, and part of Southern New Jersey.

  Have Fun Looking Together Everybody!

She only looked once

Subject; The story of Adam and Eve.

As the story goes…

God told Adam…Adam told Eve…”do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” (which represents autonomy, or, self-rule and an assumed independence). Eve is deceived by the serpent and takes from the tree and eats. Nothing happened. Then she gave the fruit to Adam and Adam ate. It is in this instance that we realize our embarrassment of how ugly we are….the separation occurs between God and man….and you see God distancing from the disobedience.

The Fall of Man.

A Tear in the Wallpaper

Imagine that you are an old house. Since the time you were built you have never seen but only have heard the goings on inside you. Then one day a tear in the wallpaper occurs allowing you to finally see inside yourself. This unveiling miracle happens to occur on Thanksgiving day.

Main Break

This scenario of a scene takes place on a busy city street where an American worker has been called upon to fix a broken water line. A term referred to in the industry as “tapping the main”. It is the common American worker who is both the backbone and driving force responsible for the building of a positive future for our nation. We can be called upon by others when only American ingenuity and diligence can be counted on to keep us heading in a forward momentous direction. We are today’s response for tomorrows solution.

The Tern in the Wind

A shore scene dealing with the fun simplicity of repetition. The subject being the common Tern. A migratory bird who loves to fly in pairs and are often found around Cape Cod and surrounding areas. With precision intent I have made this original artwork look as if it were a watercolor to the viewer rather than the reality of it being a paper collage.

The wash

Inspired by the swift moving storms that bring flash floods and planetary bowling ball sounds of thunder. I invite the viewer to take a seat and enjoy one of mother nature’s greatest shows on earth.

DETOX

Subject; The  mental health issues that come hand-in-hand with addictions, and those found along the path to breaking them.

The lose, lose, win.

Subject;  Abortion.

One woman finds herself in an abortion clinic office at battle with all the different stereotypes and personalities that society says she should be. She is faced with a choice that will ultimately change the course of her life forever. The line  between what she believes is right and what is wrong can only be found in her original true self. All await a decision to be made and if the line will be crossed.

Julio's Basement

The architectual vision of my brother Jules’ future basement.

Divorce

When a man, (a rocket) and a woman, (a soft flutter of a curtain) decide to separate, a broken and divided home is found in the middle.

Caught in the headlights

Like a deer caught frozen in a car’s headlights, so are we in the split-second-stillness before the crash of facing some of life’s dilemmas.

 “Brace for Impact…..”

Three cheers for society

When the world lies to your girl, she believes it, and she gets stolen from you in the midst of her own confusion.

Rush hour traffic in The Testing Years Pt. #1

As filtered information about the Covid 19 epidemic was being fed to civilians, behind the scenes first responders found their own professional selves grasping to understand fully the “reality of the situation” that we were all facing. The disease control safety bubble that we all carelessly presumed we lived in was not as sealed and secured as we were led to assume. The sound of a forced quiet from an otherwise domineering nation gave the feel of an Apocalyptic event that had just come to pass. For a country that forges itself together in times of hardships, now, were being told to isolate themselves thereby inadvertently becoming separate links in the coveted American Chain.

When the months turned into the flipping of a new calendar year, americans had gotten used to the taste of the sanitized chilled air of countless hospital rooms, homes, and individual idling cars. With each new doctors visit came a new “booster” shot that came complete with a wink and a promise that the chameleon-like, manifesting virus was collared and under control. That is until their next check-up appointment when the shuffling confused patients were met yet again with robotic smiles and the mouthed familiar phrase…”Don’t forget your booster!”
